This website is operated by The Trustee for Accordian Doors Trust (ABN 61 207 440 537) trading as Accordion Doors Australia. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is for

This site provides information about our products and services and lets you request a quote or send an enquiry. It is not an online shop. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment step, and we never ask for card or bank details through this website.

2. Information on the site is general

Product descriptions, dimensions, acoustic ratings and application notes on this site describe product categories in general terms and are given as ranges or typical values. They are not a specification for your project. What a given system will achieve in your building depends on the opening, the structure, the ceiling condition and the installation, and it is confirmed at measure and in a written quote.

Photographs on this site are examples of the kind of work we do, not a representation of how your job will look. Most are our own completed installations. Where we do not yet have a photograph of our own, we use a stock image to illustrate what a product category looks like, and we do not present it as our work. Diagrams, elevations and calculator output are schematic, are not to scale, and are not a substitute for a site measure.

3. Quotes

• A quote request submitted through this site is a request, not an order. It does not create a contract.
• Any quote we issue is an offer that is open for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, it is open for 30 days.
• A contract is formed only when you accept a written quote and we confirm acceptance in writing.
• Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, on a site measure. If site conditions turn out to differ materially from what was described or accessible at measure, we will tell you and issue a variation before doing the work.
• Any terms in the quote or our order acknowledgement prevail over these website terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree that the information you give us, including measurements, site details and contact details, is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You agree that you are authorised to request work at the site, and that you will not use this site or its forms for anything unlawful, misleading or automated, including scraping or submitting forms by script.

5. Third-party names and trade marks

Manufacturer names referred to on this site, including on our repairs and servicing page, are the trade marks of their respective owners. We use them only to describe the equipment we service and the parts we supply. Accordion Doors Australia is an independent business. We are not an authorised dealer, agent, licensee or service partner of any manufacturer named, and nothing on this site should be read as implying affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from any of them.

Unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific item, replacement parts we supply are compatible, reconditioned or fabricated components supplied by us, not genuine manufacturer parts, and any warranty on them is given by us.

6. Our intellectual property

The text, layout, illustrations and code of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use or for assessing a quote. You may not reproduce, republish or use the content commercially without our written permission.

7. Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Liability

Subject to clause 7, and to the extent permitted by law: we provide this website “as is” and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on general information published on it; and our total liability arising out of supply of goods or services is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods or services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Privacy

Personal information you submit through this site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may change these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State and the courts competent to hear appeals from them.
